Two Air Quality Health Advisories remain in effect today. The biggest change today is that we've removed Fremont County from the advisory area. Otherwise, the advisory remains in effect until at least Saturday morning.
This week, Colorado has gotten some rain, which has helped keep the fires from spreading. This weekend, a ridge of high pressure is moving in, bringing warm and dry weather to the state. Stay tuned to the blog for smoke updates throughout the weekend.
If there is smoke in your area, reduce your exposure and limit your activity. Also over the weekend, heat is a major factor in the forecast. Check the CDC's Heat Risk Map for information on your county's heat risk.
